Evan and Carl Sturken started their careers in the New York R&B scene of the late 1980's. Working with legendary dance producer Arthur Baker, they got one of their first breaks working on the Beat Street soundtrack. They also workd with Kashif and produce hits for R&B legends Cheryl Lynn, Stephanie Mills, and Jennifer Hiliday. Sturken & Rogers are also credited with the comeback album of Donny Osmond, writing and producing the #2 pop smash "Soldier of Love" and the Top 10 hit "Sacred Emotion."
